Michael's culinary background runs deep as he grew up in the kitchen helping with his family’s multi-generational bakery. He followed in their footsteps as he began his professional career with degrees in culinary arts and hotel restaurant business management from Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI. His resume boasts a variety of high caliber restaurants and hotels namely the world-renowned Inn at Little Washington, the Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group, and the Royal Orleans Hotel in New Orleans. Michael joined the Carmel Team in 2024 and is eager to set down roots in North Carolina.
