Mark Wood is one of Carmel's greatest assets with 40 years of experience teaching golf all over the World. Mark’s ability to take club level and junior golfers into great players and professionals is truly unique. He is originally from Bedford, IN and began working at Carmel in 2021. Mark graduated from the University of Alabama and was a member of the famed Golf Digest and Nicklaus Flick Golf Schools. Mark was also named Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher from 2000-2011,Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher from 1997-2011 and South Florida and New Jersey Teacher of the Year. Mark's dedication to excellence sets the standard for golfing success at our Club. He and his wife Kathy now call Charlotte home.
