Coming from Central New York, Curtis started his professional life working with individuals with Down Syndrome and autism as a direct care provider.

In 2019, he relocated to Charlotte on a whim and began working at Carmel, starting as a Locker Room Attendant and later becoming the Manager of the Safety and Member Services team in 2023. When he’s not at Carmel, Curtis enjoys fiction writing, gaming, and playing disc golf.
